State Street Reconstruction Project

Inner Loop North to Basin Street

This project includes street reconstruction and minor pavement widening of State Street from Basin Street to the Inner Loop. Improvements will also include curb modifications and bump outs at intersections, new sidewalks, driveway aprons, lighting, drainage basins, pavement markings, signing, landscape treatments, and traffic signal improvements.

The project is funded with federal, state, city and county funds, and will impact traffic along State St. between Basin St. and the Inner Loop beginning on or about Feb. 1. Motorist and pedestrian access will be maintained for the durations of the project, however, they may experience delays at the site.

Construction will begin in the Spring of 2022, with completion anticipated by the Summer of 2023.
