Downtown Definitely is bringing back this popular summer event for three nights this summer. All screenings are free and family-friendly. Bring a blanket and chair for a comfortable viewing experience. Food and drinks are available to purchase from local food trucks and vendors. “The Little Mermaid” is the beloved story of Ariel, a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. The youngest of King Triton’s daughters and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land but ultimately places her life – and her father’s crown – in jeopardy. The RTS Transit Center on St Paul St is a 2 min walk to Parcel 5. PARKING
Movies With a Downtown View does not operate any parking but there are many surface lots and ramp parking garages conveniently located near the event. Metered on-street parking is in service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Please read the signs and only park in legal spots. Midtown Garage – off of Clinton and Broad St is open 24/7. It has a 6 ft. clearance. The entrance is located directly across from Tower280. Rates are $2 for the first 2 hours and an additional $2 for each hour or a fraction of an hour after that. For Parcel 5 events, there is a stairwell that leads straight into the space on Andrew Langston Way.
