Downtown Definitely Events is bringing back this popular event for three nights this summer at Parcel 5. All screenings are free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Each night kicks off at 7:00 PM with pre-movie fun and games, followed by a film shown on a giant 20-foot-wide, 10-foot-high LED video wall with high-quality sound starting at approximately 8:00 PM. Attendees can grab a bite to eat from local food trucks and enjoy classic movie concession items. ASL interpreters will be present, and all films include closed captions. Bring your chairs and blankets and settle in for a great night of outdoor cinema in downtown Rochester.

Before the Space Jam screening, inflatable activities like Shoot Out and Free Shot will be set up at Parcel 5 for people of all ages to enjoy. Activities start before the movie and are free to join.

Each Movies With a Downtown View event features a Small Business Spotlight, highlighting local Rochester businesses that help make downtown vibrant and unique. Attendees can connect with local entrepreneurs, discover new products and services, and support the small businesses that help strengthen our community.

All events are outdoors, and vendors must provide their own 10-by-10-foot tent, tables, and chairs. Participation is free, but space is limited.

BIKE RACKS
You are welcome to park your bicycle in the racks located around Parcel 5. It is recommended that you secure your bike by locking it up in the nearby bike racks.

The RTS Transit Center on St. Paul street is a short walk to Parcel 5. PARKING
Movies With a Downtown View does not operate any parking but there are many surface lots and ramp parking garages conveniently located near the event. Metered on-street parking is in service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Please read the signs and only park in legal spots. Midtown Garage is off of Clinton and Broad St. It has a 6 ft. clearance. The entrance is located directly across from Tower280. Rates are $2 for the first 2 hours and an additional $2 for each hour or a fraction of an hour after that. For Parcel 5 events, there is a stairwell that leads straight into the space on Andrew Langston Way.
