Midday Bash brought lunchtime fun to the heart of downtown Rochester throughout the summer, offering an easy way to grab a delicious meal and enjoy a break in the middle of the workweek. Each event featured a variety of local food trucks, massage chairs, live music, games, giveaways, and more.
The events also showcased a rotating lineup of local businesses through the Downtown Definitely Events promotional partnership program, connecting attendees with businesses and organizations from across the Rochester community.

Each Midday Bash features a rotating Small Business Spotlight, highlighting a different Rochester business at every event. Meet local entrepreneurs, discover new products and services, shop local, and connect with the businesses helping shape downtown Rochester.
JUNE 10
Side Bar is a downtown Rochester restaurant and lounge known for its creative cocktails, lively atmosphere, and flavorful jerk fusion menu that blends Caribbean, American, and Asian influences. Located on South Avenue, Side Bar has become a local favorite for signature drinks, late-night energy, and crowd-pleasing dishes like their famous Loaded Jerk Chicken Fries.
JULY 8
Ludwig's Center Stage Cafe is a beloved downtown Rochester eatery located in the heart of the East End. Known for its homemade soups, fresh sandwiches, salads, and breakfast offerings, Ludwig's serves locals, workers, students, and visitors alike. Its welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and convenient location make it a longtime community favorite.
AUGUST 5
Aqua Vitae is a craft cocktail bar in Rochester's East End known for its expertly crafted drinks, premium spirits selection, and upscale yet approachable atmosphere. Featuring creative cocktails, tastings, live entertainment, and knowledgeable service, Aqua Vitae has become a popular destination for cocktail enthusiasts and downtown nightlife seekers.
SEPTEMBER 9
Frenchman Street is a New Orleans-inspired restaurant in downtown Rochester that brings the flavors of Louisiana to the city with authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Located in The Mercantile on Main, it is known for house-smoked meats, scratch-made ingredients, po' boys, gumbo, and other Southern specialties served in a casual, welcoming atmosphere.
GETTING TO PARCEL 5
BIKE RACKS
You are welcome to park your bicycle in the racks located around Parcel 5. It is recommended that you secure your bike by locking it up in the nearby bike racks.

The RTS Transit Center on St. Paul St is a short walk to Parcel 5. PARKING
Midday Bash does not operate any parking but there are many surface lots and ramp parking garages conveniently located near the event. Metered on-street parking is in service from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Please read the signs and only park in legal spots. Midtown Garage is off of Clinton and Broad St. It has a 6 ft. clearance. The entrance is located directly across from Tower280. Rates are $2 for the first 2 hours and an additional $2 for each hour or a fraction of an hour after that. For Parcel 5 events, there is a stairwell that leads straight into the space on Andrew Langston Way.
