First Midday Bash is June 8 Kicking Off Downtown Definitely Events Series

Rochester, New York, June 1, 2022 – The first of four Downtown Definitely Midday Bash events kicks off Wednesday, June 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.on Parcel 5. The new fun lunch event in the heart of downtown Rochester offers quick and delicious food and drink options during the week for people working, living, or visiting downtown Rochester. In addition to food trucks, Midday Bash will feature a relaxation station, midday stretches, music, lawn games, prizes, and more.

Midday Bash is part of Downtown Definitely Events, a new series of free events and activities produced by the Rochester Downtown Development Corporation (RDDC) to shine the light on downtown with great new experiences to bring the community together.

  • DJ City – a Rochester native, DJ City is an open-format DJ who plays all different genres

  • Vault fitness studio – leading afternoon stretches for all fitness levels

  • Relaxation station – chair massage, oxygen bar, IV drip, and more

  • Glenna’s CBD – shop a range of tinctures, topicals, pet products, anti-aging beauty products, and more

About Downtown Definitely Events

Downtown Definitely Events is a new series of free events and activities produced by the Rochester Downtown Development Corporation (RDDC) taking place in downtown Rochester from June through December 2022 and includes food, festivals, shopping, music, movies, and more shining the light on downtown to create great new experiences and help bring the community together again. Downtown Definitely is a joint initiative of NYS Empire State Development, ROC2025, Rochester Downtown Development Corporation, Rochester Downtown Partnership, and the City of Rochester. Their shared mission is to grow economic vitality in Downtown Rochester by bringing the community together and improving its street-level and riverfront experience.
